The Eco Show

This show has been developed with Global Action Plan (a national charity working with environmental education) since 2005 and seeks to present some of the causes and consequences of climate change and the broader ecological issues in a fun and entertaining way. We incorporate elements of theatre, clowning and plenty of music and rap. Different characters present different opinions and dilemmas. We explore topics including energy use, global foot printing, oil consumption, and alternative energy sources and seek solutions from the audience. The show invites plenty of participation and draws on the knowledge of the group.

Following the performance we hold a discussion on the issues raised and can then use these to develop the group's own creative work and performance.
