We work across the UK and internationally with a wide variety of groups of any background, ability or age. Projects provide empowering creative experiences for all and train individuals and communities to become changemakers in the world.
Movingsounds runs workshops that help young people grow their confidence and find their creativity. We explore social and environmental issues using creativity to understand, inspire and discover what we can all do to make a difference.
Since we started in 2006 we have worked with over 20,000 young people across the UK using music, theatre, video, art and nature-connection. We have run projects on recycling -using out junk percussion orchestra-, climate change, community safety and social justice.
Movingsounds runs a range of creative facilitation trainings to empower adults to become agents of positive change. Trainings are bespoke for organisations, weekend courses and residential retreats.
We use a wide range of creative methods to understand how to create cultures that allow all to be included and contribute. When we collaborate in well held, creative experiences it generates well-being and systemic change, two things that are most needed in challenging times. We teach an understanding of how creativity is such a powerful tool for change and have a massive amount of laughter and inspiration.
“Creative Tools for Social Change helped me put my dreams into action. It was a most welcome boost to my confidence and will power.”

Movingsounds offers music sessions in day centres, care homes and memory cafes. The workshops help improve the mental, social and physical wellbeing and train carers and family in using music for dementia.
